Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 scoops Salted Caramel All-in-One Shake
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. fine sea salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
⅛ cup granulated cane sugar
⅓ cup almond milk
2 large eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tbsp. melted butter
⅛ cup applesauce
2 cups apples, finely diced
1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, Salted Caramel All-in-One Shake, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar.
2. Create a well in the center and add the almond milk, eggs, vanilla, melted butter, and applesauce. Whisk the wet ingredients, then fold into the dry ingredients until just combined.
3. Add the diced apples and apple cider vinegar. Gently fold with a spatula until evenly mixed.
4. Line your air fryer with parchment paper and lightly spray with avocado oil.
5. Use a large cookie scoop to drop 3–4 fritters onto the parchment at a time. Spray lightly with avocado oil spray.
6. Air fry at 390–400°F for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. (Alternatively, bake at 425°F for 7–8 minutes, then flip and bake an additional 2–3 minutes.)
Garnishes (optional)
Whisk together 1 cup powdered sugar, ⅛ cup milk, and 1 tsp. vanilla bean paste until smooth. Dip the tops of the fritters in the glaze, then set on a wire rack for 1–2 minutes until the glaze firms up.
